I follow their forums and don't know where you see that unless it was from a much earlier version.  Keep in mind that 'SqueezePlay' is the name used for both the desktop application and the underlying application running on the Touch, Radio and Controller.  It's all the the same application.

You can install SqueezePlay in about a minute and try it out for yourself.  Don't run both SqueezePlay and Softsqueeze at the same time, but they can both easily co-exist on the same system.  Go with SqueezePlay from 7.6, as it has a few more bug fixes checked in than 7.5.

I am using squeezecenter 7.5.1 with a SB3 and softsqueeze.
About every 30 minutes or so the player will hang up.
Does'nt matter which player or if I'm listening to internet radio or music from my harddrive....
I just hit play and it goes again...
Are there some settings that can be addressed or is thes prone to the version of squeezecenter??

Al three are wirelessly connected. Never had a problem like this for the last 3 years since getting my first SB.
I was beggining to think that maybe my router was getting congested with all the data that its handling between audio/network HDD and different computers. Guess I need to fugure this out too.

I have installed the latest java platform, however there was a spot during the
squeezebox installation where i could install a "jave MP3 plugin" but I was not successful when I tried this...

I'm getting Squeezecenter hanging also for the first time.  Downloaded lTest and updated the transporter.  What's a safe version to go back to?

Also, I checked "use iTunes cover art" and of course I have no cover art at all now.

Never had a problem with the Transporter before.  Are they killing it slowly with updates now that it's no longer in the lineup?  Tragedy that they stopped selling it.  Dan did a great job with the mods.

You're having problems with the server hanging and with artwork not being visible?  Those are both server-side problems and have nothing to do with the Transporter.
