Something i've been working on for Seth...below please find our "Full Carbon Jacket" in F1 grade Black-Resin Carbon Fibre for the ONE and TWO range.

[those with good eyesight will spot some rather nice feet and screws to match it all up, screws are simply aesthetic where-as the feet are a little bit special

demand better audio

[we do quite a few different weaves, so do be patient with us, sexier products on the way

Time to reveal our "Full Carbon Jacket" in F1 grade Clear-Resin Carbon Fibre for the ONE and TWO range.

Next to the Black Resin original:

Natural light picture shows the 'oily' effect of the weave and resin along with the pseudo depth....don't forget these are 1/2mm thick

Truly I don't know yet. The materials are pretty-much a non-multiplier except for Kevlar but the tooling needs to be amortized across the first xxx number of units - hence its a bit of guess-work, a pinch of hope and a dash of hot sauce to come up with a price

Another i've been working on, not lacquered just lovingly rubbed flat (this material is a nightmare and takes a good 1/2 hr more than the others - i am getting fore-arms like a wrestler!).

Sapphire likes the matt look but thats just because she doesn't like anything out-shinning her

Figures that my fav so far is the nightmarish one.
Very cool can they be dyed?? I'm thinking "nightmarish" version in Orange(red brick virtue color).

Or Yellow! surprised dba hasn't created a Tartan version yet

In case you don't know Danny, Tartan is very "punk" in the USA, and we could probably sell a few to the people younger then me

You can actually get coloured lacquer, satin, matt (print resistent) and flip coats but it'd be a costly risk to sample something as the prominent part of the spectrum would be the base shades of the carbon...a semi-transparent colured vinyl could also be applied and this would be the easiest and customisable way to achieve the look - anything is possible

The nice part about a good clear lacquer finish, very hard to see in 2D pictures (may be my photography) is the self camoflaging of the finish, they tend to reflect their surroundings quite well and as such blend in very well - you'd have to try surrounding it with orange objects and see what happens

Tartan is old-school here in the ancient land too. It could also be wet-laid similar to dry carbon but thats not a repeatable process thats used often in high-end applications. Its a process used quite often to make tools instead of opting for the costly Ali approach - if someone donates a ONE/TWO jacket and material, i'll get one of our experts to give it a go

Break in the weather and my working schedule...Polished you can really get a sense of the complexity of the weave, this matches the top-plates that can now be ordered on Virtue Audio's site - the eagle eyed amongst you that catch the odd F1 race should recognize this as the barge-board material and can be seen inside the side-pods, as carbon goes, there is few weaves stronger.

Anyhow added a touch of flash to finish this post off, hope you like

Hi there,
There are a couple of ways to get around the colour issue;
1. Tinted lacquer, or
2. Tinted vinyl wrap

these 2 options i would assume are boundary conditions with respect to cost and maintenance (should there be any need?) but not so in overall look.
I have asked our paint-shop to investigate tinting lacquer and the chap that does all our sign-writing to do the same with a top-quality tinted/semi-transparent vinyl.

I'll post back when i have ideas.
