So im going to order my dodd buffer this week and since its going to replace my receiver im going to loose a way to listen to my cans at night. Since the buffer and my dac are off the grid id like to keep my amps off too but im having a hard time finding something that runs on 12v.  DIY is ok. I have a pair of HD555's and a pair of brainwaves M3 iems and ill be geting a pair of high end high ohm cans in the spring.

I'm probably going to pick up an iBasso D6 when it comes out, it looks ideal to go between my macbook pro and my SM3 iem's. Unfortunately it's just coming out so there aren't very many reviews out there. If you don't need the DAC there are lots of reviews on their amps around the web.
