I went recently into a cinema. No movie whown there! No? It was a cinema before.
I found lots of antique/vintage valves and driver units instead.
There was mono valve power amplifier called VAC. It has 8 x 300B. I cannot remember who was the manufacturer. It started something with golden....(please don't tell me it was golden dragon since it was not!) it makes real nice sound. The speakers were not less immpressive. It was about 2 metres high and heavy, almost 200 Kg per loudspeaker. Unfortunately I could ot se what driver units were placed inside those "Dragons".
I found out later that there were Western Electric 15" and EV Silver (something)...
