I am looking for old working Electrostatic panel to develop a Direct Coupled electrostatic amplifier. My favorite ESL panel are from old Quad ESL57, KLH 9 , Janzsen, RTR, ESS, Stax ESl 81/83, Beveridge ....small type of panel, not the big one like Martin Logan, Rogers Sound Lab... I am willing to pay reasonable price for these old panels. My plan is to build a tube amp and direct drive these panels, just a simple experiment to understand the sound quality of ESL panel when direct driven, before attacking on bigger project. If anybody have diy electrostat, old beaten, not working electrostatic speaker please also let me know.
