I just bought a passive preamp that has only 1 output. I plan on hooking this up to a subwoofer amp that has a line in and then hooking up my poweramp through the subwoofer amp's line out.
Now, I just bought this preamp to get rid of the hiss I get from some active preamps. Immediately getting another preamp for a second output I could hook up to a subwoofer would be the best solution, but it would make me feel rather stupid for buying this preamp. I figured that I would just run my poweramp through the line out of the subwoofer and it would satisfy me for a good while.
The reason I put this here is - I was wondering if I should get a new preamp first, or whether I should upgrade my Sony SCD-CE775 at sacdmods.com first.
