Recommended Stereo Rack with Wheels?

I was criticized awhile back for stacking my audio gear. So I've been thinking that now maybe the time to purchase an audio rack. :|

Since my room is narrow, I can't have the rack away from the wall. So the rack has to be up against the wall, and if I need to change wires or something. I can just pull the unit out to access the rear panels. It also has to be vertical, that holds 6 or 7 units, no more than 5 ft. high with wheels.

I think the salesman thought I was a little nutty when I asked how much his stereo racked cost and if it came with wheels. :rotflmao:

I would not recommend the "Archetype" from Salamander but would recommend the following from Salamander:

Another option to consider is a Billy Bags rack with glides, rather than wheels. Glides will let you pull the rack out (with a bit of muscle) and are quite a bit more stable than wheels. I've found them to be a good compromise between mobile racks with jiggly wheels and the ultimate stability of a spiked rack. The link shows several of their racks with the glides installed.

And another: Omni mount pro.com(cheap shipping to Can).
                   Middle Atlantic Power Products.

i'm seriously thinking(for me)going with Omni mount as they are cheaper, very solid, pro look ect.
The above are more geared to the pro look(which I like) but the Omni's have also have the home enviroment in mind also.
Nice to have lots of options as I priced these from two dealers 400-650 more :o :nono:.,
Soooo, even with the shipping incl.a person saves a mess of money.
