Hey Robert,
I actually had that same picture as my background picture for the computer. I almost was going to ask James some time back if Bryston would introduce a third colour of dark metallic grey colour. The picture appears more of a dark metal grey than the silver due to the shadows and i think Brystons gear would look great in it
What do you all think??

I would like to see a dark blue. That would be pretty slick, imo.

Hi Folks,

The problem with many colours when you anodize is it is difficult to get exactly the same colour with each batch.

It wouldn't be hard to do a real gold finish! Of course the price of gold would add another $1,000. to the price of the product. But I bet you would have customers who would pay. Special order? It would be cool.

The company that built my pre amp (and my previous power amp) allow any color for an additional charge. I think it is rather neat...

Hi James,
I have emailed Mike about 10 days ago about the possibility of changing out the square faceplate of my BCD with the radiused faceplate and have not had any return email from him.
Can you check with Mike to confirm this can be done. I have to send the player in anyway to get the LED looked at as 2 lines have blown out making it impossible to read and iam thinking of getting both done at the same time.

Thank you,

Mark

Hi James

Bryston changed the amplifier faceplates cosmetics when the capacitor changes were implemented by changing the ends from square cut to radiused

When were the BP-26 and MPS-2 faceflates changed from square cut to radiused to match (from which serial numbers onwards)

My 7B's, BP26 and MPS2 shipped mid June of '09.  The 7's were SN 01850 and 01851 and have the radiused faceplates.  SN 01826 was the first with the new capacitors and PS.  The MPS2 SN 00984 and BP26 SN 00943 have the squared ends.  All components are 19".
