Looking for partnering speakers for a Leben CS300x tube integrated amp from Japan. Gorgeous 15w of tube power.

The setup will be for near field listening to mostly vocals. Book shelf preferred.

Any suggestions ?

I've got the CS300XS and I had been searching also. I decided on a pair of Reynaud Bliss (unheard) and placed an order. They should arrive in a couple of months. The other speakers I shortlisted were Audio Note K's, Harbeth Compact 7 and DeVore Super 8's. Not quite bookshelf size, but Harbeth and DeVore both have smaller speakers. This is probably not much help, but thought I would give you some ideas. BTW, I never heard any of these. There are no stereo shops anywhere near where I live. I am currently using the speakers in a 1957 Ampex console. For a while I used a pair of Dynaco A25s. I surpised how loud 15 watts was.

A veritable floorstander slayer.  I own 2 pairs of Bob's creations and both are incredible.  Not very widely known but owners swear by them.  Reasonable cost, no headroom to speak off and Bob is a real gentleman.

PS: I own the BR-20 which was replaced with this unit, as the Fostex fullrange has been replaced.  Mine is crossed into a pair of FH-96 Alnico tweeters.  Bob accommodated my request and placed 2 L-pads to tailor low end and high end response.  Mine is paired with a 15 watt SET tubed amp with F2A tubes built by Niteshade Audio.  The response is unbelievable.
