There are quite a few very high resolution pictures, so adjust your patience according to the speed of your internet connection accordingly.

No need for more chat, the pictures speak for themselves.

Very cool. The “Coal mine in South Africa” is pretty wild.

Yes! It really minimizes the amount of pavement given over to cars and maximizes the privacy of each house and there probably is a psychological advantage to having such a long front yard. The backyard can be short because you are backing on to green space, so you wouldn't feel cramped. Clever.

Not sure I'd want to live there, though - too symmetrical, I think and - talk about feeling literally like a cog in a wheel!

It reminded me of a different one - and when I searched it, guess what image popped up 9 seconds in?

My favorites, the thoughtful layout of Suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark, and the poverty in Suburbs of Cape Town, South Africa. No automobiles whatsoever.   :(

What vastly different worlds we live in.

Nice diverse collection.  The Changping District in Beijing reminds me of old Quebec.  And I wonder how many scheming con artists are hard at work on the Net in those Nigerian boathouses.

Drop me off at Neuschwanstein Castle, please!  Kyrgyzstan and Easter Island are probably my favorite aesthetically, although they don't look very habitable.  Then again, if I move to Switzerland it looks like they give everyone a sailboat!  Bonus!
