I have had my Ultravalve amp and Insight+ preamp for almost 6 months now.
It has been nothing but wonderful with my SongTowers.
Each and every time I start listening I am amazed at the clarity, the snappy, TAUNT bass that is able to be reproduced and heard that I missed with my AVR.
The imaging is at time 3 dimensional, accurate and just wonderful.
I know that this is the combimation that is touted as a marraige made in heaven. It is!
Its like getting a larger woofer, a new ribbon tweeter without having to upgrade my speakers I like so much.
Patrica Barbers Live presentation of Norwegian Wood is to 'die for'..each time I think I want to upgrade this combination I listen to this and say "Why would I part with this setup?"
I like to build things and have been sorely tempted to buy one of these dynaco look alike kits, but I listen to the Ultravalve and say "why??"....
Accuracy, Tonality, Transparency, Musicality, in such a small package.
If you get a chance find this setup and take a listen and be prepared to be amazed!
