The Cambridge will pass 96khz signal out of the digital output provided that the disc is not copyright protected. If it has the copyright flag it will down convert to 48 khz.
It even has a option to pass a 192khz signal.
Check out Classic Records website they just anounced that they were going to start releasing 24/96 discs that can be played on any dvd player.
On the other side of the disc will be a 24/192 stereo DVD-Audio track.they call them HDAD's
