For reasons that I won't go into here, I am finding it necessary to WMP to access my flac encoded music library on my NAS Drive.  Not having a lot of experience with WMP, I was able to download and install the flac codecs required to decode flac files.  When I point to a specific file from my library, WMP can play the flac files.  The problem I am having is trying to point WMP to my nas drive and my music library as the source for my music.  WMP defaults to C: drive no matter what.  My music library is locted at drive M: (a mapped share).  I would just like WMP to look there instead of drive c.

Help, please!

For Windows Media Player 11:

Tools > Options > Library tab > Monitor Folders... button (you may have to click the >>Advanced Options button if the file location pane is not showing)

Click the Add button to add your mapped drive location(s).  You can highlight any other locations already listed and either Remove ones that have been manually added or Ignore default locations.

I am using Media Player 12, so it isn't exactly the same.  However, with your help I was able to figure out how to point WMP to the correct directory.  In WMP 12, you set the library location using the Rip files tab.  This points WMP to that location for reading and writing files.

Thanks.
