Anyone ever use any First Watt amps here?

No, but I have f4 boards  :green:

I'd like to try driving it with both my preamp (28 dB gain should do it) and my SET...

But it's a tossup between building the f4 or a preamp next. I like my pre, but I'm sure I can improve upon it building one myself.

I've heard Pass gear driving Lowthers, they were a good match and I'd bet Pass gear would work great with Omegas too.

5 years ago or so I ordered an F1 and Red Wine Audio Sig 30 (latest version is Sig 30.2 LFP-V Edition, which includes a vacuum tube-stage). I ended up paying the 10% restocking fee to return the F1. IMO the F1 needed tubes in front of it. I didn't have tubes at the time.

Love my FirstWatt F1 with my Common Sense Audio 12" drivers. Easily best match I've found for the sound I am looking for (detailed, driven, and with great dynamics and PRaT). F1 is also a fave of Ed shilling for his Horn Shoppe horns. Great detail and dynamics. Will also be comparing it to a DIY F2 shortly. I'll try to remember to post my impressions here.

The 6moons reviews of the FirstWatt line are very much in line with my own observations with the 2 I have been able to try in my system to date (F1 & F5).
