the 2B SSTsq and the B100 integrated don't have the NPN/PNP circuitry, correct? (furthermore i think they "only" got the SSTsq transistors?) :scratch:

if yes...what's the reason?

Hi Al,

The NPN/PNP proprietary circuits we use are only applicable when you have '4' or more output transistors per channel.  The SST2 on the 2B SST refers to the input stage changes we made when we went to the '2' designation.  The B100 is not an SST2 because the B100 is an integrated amp and is connected directly to the preamp section internally so no changes are required.
