I need to make room for the new stuff, so some of the old stuff has to go.

Pioneer SD-533HD; This is my beloved and very highly rated 53" CRT based RPTV, professionally calibrated by Dave Levy of Abbey Road HT. It is ~8 years old and until recently, worked perfectly. However, there have been a several occasions over the past 3-4 months when the red gun did not come on until several minutes after the set was turned on. Otherwise the picture quality and performance are excellent, IMO. But because of the red gun issue I feel the highest I can rate it is 6/10.

I'm asking $250 $200 obo and local pick-up (zip code 94538) is required. I will not even consider trying to ship this beast.

Asking price dropped to $200 obo.

This display has to go and soon, so make me an offer. If I don't sell it this week I'll donate it and take the tax deduction.

FYI, the price includes the Pioneer service manual, in addition to the standard user manual. Also, the screens have already been re-stacked.

One way or another, this needs to go and soon. I am now actively looking for a charity to donate this to, so if you have any interest, let me know ASAP.

It's a shame, this TV still has excellent picture quality, but it has to go. I haven't been able to find a charity to take it, so a recycler will be picking it up on Saturday (6/25). If you're interested, speak now.
