Grieg Piano Concerto in A Minor

From the opening notes, this piece is instantly recognisable even to those not familiar with classical music.

Look for Leif Ove Andsnes' recording on EMI 3943992

I concur with the Leif Ove Andsnes' recording. You can get it with some of Grieg's Lyric Pieces which are very beautiful.

Andsnes is great, as is Perahia.  For older recordings, Curzon is my favorite, followed by Solomon.
