I'm quite familiar with the Sytemdek IIX and it's limitations, but not the Systemdek II.

Are these worth getting for around $400? Working of course.

Let me know if any of you have any hands on experience living with one and/or upgrading one.

I was hoping somebody would jump in here, because my knowledge of this model is very limited. I sold Systemdek in the '80s. It's the IIX that I really know. In 1990 I believe, these were closed out and sold for dirt. Not sure exactly what happened. Is that when they went out? The US distributor got stuck somehow. A cheapskate drummer friend asked me about it. I told him he couldn't go wrong for $50 or whatever, but that was mostly based on the other model.

He did get it and I heard it once or twice, maybe. I can't really see what that cart is. Come with? That might be the deciding factor. I would never pay $400 for it without a decent cart. It might be rare - collectors item. Based on the little bit I heard, there are all kinds of better tables for that money.
