Awhile back I bought some ML* stat speakers from a guy, and they came with Versa Lab Wood Block power devices. The MLs are gone, but what do these nice walnut devices do (or don't)? Do they provide any benefits in this day and age? If so, where should I use them in my system? Ahead of CDPs, preamp, amp, refrigerator?
*BTW, ML gave me fantastic service when a borrowed amp torched the 'stats. I drove to the factory with the electronics and they treated me great when I just dropped in.
