Sonically better than new. The top frame around the open baffle has been removed (hence price). If you care about sound more than looks think you'll be very happy with these.

I currently use a 2a3 amp with these which is fine at moderate volumes... have used various tripaths as well. Anything more than 20wpc is louder than I can take on these. My main speakers for years - went through many many pieces of gear and these were the only thing I've retained. Now moving...
Includes some 10' custom Canare 4s triwire->biwire cables I had custom made for these. I do have padded shipping crates for these.
