May 2010 Issue
« on: 10 May 2010, 01:29 pm »
The layout editor asked me to pass on that the the May 2010 issue is ready for free download.  This month the staff reviews the JATON Operetta preamp, Virtue Audio ICEpower mono-blocks with a surprise inside, along with a vintage review of the Polk SRA CRS+ speakers, and part one of an interview with Ken Kantor.  Just click on the image of the issue.
Thanks for reading!!

Probably your best issue because of the interview with Ken Kantor. I was looking forward to some discussion on the NHT 3.3 loudspeaker and in particular the NHT1259 driver (now distributed by Madisound). This was one of the 1st serious 12 inch woofers designed for low frequency reproduction back in the early 90's and was heavily popularized by the DIYBassList.

The internet was medieval back then!

Anand.

Ken Kantor is an audio ICON! I cut my audiophile teeth on his Acoustic Research designs back in the 80's-90's (Teledyne days).
