When I built my latest pair of Neo 2X's I used No-Rez and Dacron Poly Fil for damping. Normally I use Acousti-Stuf but used Poly Fil initally because I was out of the Acousti Stuf. Subsequently, I ordered and received some more Acousti-Stuf so I replaced the Poly Fil. Poy Fil does a good job acoustically, but in my opinion the Acousti-Stuf is superior. The midrange sounds more open and clearner and the bass seems to be a little deeper and better defined. RogerB used Acousti Stuf in his Neo 2X's so he might want to comment about his experience with it. If anyone wants to try Acousti Stuf in their Neo 2X's the following is my suggestion on how to install it:
(1.) Use an ounce scale to measure out 1 ounce of Acousti Stuf. You can buy ounce scales in the housewares section of stores like Walmart, K-Mart, or Bed,Bath, and Beyond.
(2.) Tease out the Acousti Stuf so that it is fluffy and not compressed.
(3.) Fill the inside of the enclosure from top to bottom from the center brace to the back of the enclosure with the Acousti Stuf.
The above is what I have found to work best for the Neo 2X and is offered as a suggestion for those who might want to try it.
