One pair of brand new high quality RCA CMC nickel free gold plated, these are longer than usual and mount from outside making them ideal for mounting with wood or metal.

Gold can not be plated on copper by conventional electroplating method. So it must plate nickel onto copper surface then do gold platinng. While nickel is a poor conductor, so these shinny beautiful gold plated sockets all are good looking juck, but not suitable for audio!
We choose new nickel free sandblasting gold plating process to order our own version RCA socket from CMC. This type of gold plating keep your RCA socket from oxidation and stable quality but without attnuate sound quality due to nickel coating.

I also have a pair of Dayton audio binding posts 24k gold plated. I used these for 2 weeks till some more expensive posts arrived. I did not notice any difference with the upgrade, apparently these are better than i thought. I nicked a couple of nuts when i removed them.
