Just to let you know that my amazing assistant, Mary Staples, is learning more and more about how to run and modify our web site.  We had to part company with the previous web manager due to distance and communication issues.

Looks good!  Not as good as my BRAND SPANKING NEW (for me) OUT OF THE BOX used Transcendence Three Fet Valve Preamplifier looks, of course, but it's sitting right here (hear?) beside me as I listen to it.  In the flesh (silicon/iron, whatever), it's GOT to look better, right?  And the sound?  I was wondering how much difference I'd hear between my used PAT-5 FET-II (my first AVA component - obtained last year) and this one.  Not to worry.  Also not to worry on another issue - I'd just done laundry earlier in the week and had plenty of clean underwear ready.

Can't believe I've waited all these years to bite the bullet and make the relatively small investment in your equipment.  And I got a better handle on my tinnitus last night in preparation for the new pre.  Ran a command line utility to generate sine waves, and my tinnitus starts somewhere between 9 and 10k.  And that's where my ability to hear anything out of the system ends, too.

The adventure continues.
