I wanted to share a brief story.
Recently, I had an Employee Appreciation day in which I brought in a massage therapist (chair massage) and cut out early on Friday for a BBQ.
The massage therapist is a family friend and shared her impression with me of our factory as if it were 'Santa's Workshop'. She was surprised and impressed with the fact that we were producing beautiful equipment, entirely by hand, in the U.S., with local skilled technicians.
We have come a long way over the years, thanks to the support of our loyal customers and hard work of a skilled team that I have assembled.
We have a broader range of products and services and because each piece is made by hand, things take time to produce and produce well.
I work very long hours, to keep our designs current and finalize new designs and modifications. Sometimes there is simply not enough hours in the day to get it all done and this is frustrating for me.
The Sony XA5400ES mod is NEARING completion and I am working hard to get it done. Time needed in finalizing the KWA 100 design, now in full production, as well as finalizing the design (still in the works) for the new matching LS 100 tube linestage, has me stretched pretty thin.
I guess the reason for sharing this is to give you all the best possible window into the world of ModWright and why some things take a while to complete.
In a difficult worldwide economy, we continue to be busy, and for this I am grateful. We will not change our approach to design excellence and excellent service.
Thank you all for your patience AND your patronage.
Sincerely,
Dan W.
