Please help me choose between Mcintosh mc7270 (270wpc) and newer Odyssey Strato Stereo amplifiers to drive my Onix LS-6 line source speakers.
Along with full bodied/meaty sound I am after liquidity and finness.
Will be using tube cdp and tube preamp.

I am in Alpharetta GA and wondering if somebody local is willing to let me audition mc7270 or simlar mcintosh amp

I cannot comment on the MC7270, but I use a McIntosh MC402.  I love the MC402.  Have used them with Vandersteen 3A and Klipschorn.  Don't know if this helps, but thought it couldn't hurt.
