Ahh, business and pleasure mixing! Heh! At work I see photos of models like these all day long, although they are primarily trains. The most effective ones are done the way this guy does them, by shooting outdoors with a real world backdrop. The sunlight and real horizon seals the deal. Most of the photos I work on however are pure Photoshop inventions with multiple fake background elements.
