I've owned the Nova since last July, purchased second hand from someone who owned it only a month. It's in perfect condition cosmetically, and I have original packaging, manual, remote, etc. I've used it primarily as a preamp, but also some as a DAC. I haven't used the amp section very much at all. It's been a very good all around performer, and very deserving of the accolades. Totally slick user-friendliness and convenience, and wonderful fit and finish on top of the excellent audio performance.
I've just headed in the direction of more expensive separates with less user-friendliness is all. This could be one of those situations where I'll regret my decision and will end up buying another one later on, especially if I can't get my house mates to follow the rules! Only time will tell. In the meantime, a great unit at a great price for you.
