NOt a new band, new to me. Love there new album Blue. Metal influenced by Fugazi and some cool jamming. Really enjoying it. Anyone know them?

Great band. I dont listen as much metal anymore but they are definitely a band that still gets my attention along with Mastodon and Opeth.

Both Baroness albums are great. A current fave for me too.

I saw Priestess opening for High on Fire last week, and would recommend both of those as well. Really loving High on Fire's newest album.

Haven't heard any of Priestess' recorded stuff yet, but their live stuff had a varied quality (incorporating sounds from other rock genres) that reminded me of Baroness at the time.
