I acoustically treated my 18x19x8 room for my LS-6's, and the following worked well for me; DIY triangular corner bass traps (ceiling to floor x 3) , one 2'x4' panel behind each speaker, three 2'x4' panels on the back wall behind the listening area (I think these are more important with a line source speaker in a small to medium room). I tried side wall acoustic panels and it deadened the highs too much, same for panels on the front wall between the LS-6's. You can't have too much bass treatment, but you can over treat and deaden the mid's and highs.
