SP2 and Multiple Subwoofers

I plan on installing two sub woofers in the near future using Balanced XLR connects.  Both subs will be considered Master's and need seperate feeds from the PrePro.

What are my options as there is only one Balanced .1 output?

Use a Y-splitter?  If so, does Bryston make this?  I have seen Unbalanced RCA splitters before.

Thanks, JohnnyB

Hi JohnnyB

Yes we can make you a balanced Y cable if you need one.  The other option is use the RCA sub out as well as the XLR and adjust the gain separately at each sub.

Not sure I understand what you mean by 'Master'  but he aware that the .1 channel is a single channel not stereo - you can use two subs or more of course but it is the same signal going to all subs.  The other option that some subs have - like my Thiels at home - is just daisy chaining the subs using their ins and out connections.

I made a balanced Y cable to use with my SP1.7 for two Rel Storm IIIs.  They have them now if you look or as James noted they can make one.  I've been using mine for as long as I've had my SP1.7 (at least 6 years) as I could not find one elsewhere
