Stupid Candela Question

Hey Folks,

I'm jumping into the world of NOS tubes as I just took delivery of some radioteque 1960's NOS 12au7's.  I was wondering if after I install them in my Candela, will I need to rebias the tubes and if so, how do I go about such a task?

Pete,

No such thing as a stupid questions here...There is no need for biasing after changing tubes. The bias in the Candela is fix by circuit design. Any 12AU7/ECC82 variant should work fine.
