Beware the spell of the 7Bs

LIfe is full of strange phenomenon--we tend to shrug off weird occurrences--just another sign of these troubled times--but in the two weeks since these 7BSST2s have moved in, I have needed to understand what has happened to me late at night, taboo or not.  As is typical in most cases, they wind up in the homes of those who wish for them--even so, they may intimidate the most seasoned listeners, who, looking back, cannot fully account for their presence, other than they strongly desired them--enough to have conjured the money from nothing, and so one day they are sitting there, low and sleek, powerfully coiled, ready to strike. Being very adaptable, these amps have found their way into homes in most parts of the world.  They are not the biggest of their kind, but like the black panther, they are quick and powerful, smooth and efficient--capable of bringing down much larger prey.  Unlike the large, colorful python, these amps are the black mambas of the audio world--one must step very carefully in a dark room.  Patient and cunning, they nearly always hunt in pairs.  When they are active, thier eyes open--at first red, then green, never blinking, always vigilant.  Unadorned with colors or patterns, these creatures are black or silver in appearance, both variants quite effective in going unnoticed.  They lurk on flat surfaces, on shelves and within racks, poised there--in rooms with open space, where unsuspecting victims walk or sit.  These amps, with names that are spelled rather than said--as if saying the word "BeaSST" would bring on bad karma--lie in wait, always ready for the casual passerby to pick up a fetish--to push a button.  Village lore holds that an attack is more like seven beasts than two.  Survivor accounts of attacks vary, but similarities abound, such as ritual head bobbing, rhythmic arm movements, catatonic trances--all lasting for up to an hour.  Victims awake alone or in small groups, often unsure of what just happened--clothes strewn about, along with empty bottles and glasses.  Depending on what the beasts were fed, victims may feel relaxed and satisfied, or perhaps energized, amazed and somehow wanting more--feeling not like victims, but like participants in something they do not understand--knowing only that they must have more of this feeling, even if this means not working, bathing, sleeping or eating for long periods.  And so I tell you this, my friends, lest you fall under the same spell--be ready........

How can I top that? I can't, at least not right now. My 7BSST'2s have now had 3 wks of run in. Warmth, top end and a midrange that is now liquid (and wasn't initially) yet neutral and inviting are attributes I describe in intercourse with my PMC EB1i's, similiar to bedroom analogy. The source of all this excitation is the BCD-1 run into the 2 channel analog of my McIntosh MX120. So excited to get the paws on the SP3!!!!

Well, thanks....just my fantasy late one night--with a bit of corny enthusiasm.  I sure am liking these amps.
