Are any of you Mac Mini users running straight to an amplifier and controlling volume with Amarra?
Wondering if the quality is high enough or do you have to run to an external dac for a reference type system with a Mac mini/Amarra and iTunes?

I think the consensus will be that you need a dac for best performance especially given the fact that you have coughed up cash for Amarra. A dacmagic or vdac for a hundred bucks would be money well spent.
