I have no idea who this guy is, but it was a catchy thread title.  I was all excited to hear this grunting and moaning, and the Amazon.com previews do give a taste of what you guys are talking about.  That is pretty weird I'll admit, but off-mic background noises are something you don't usually get otherwise.  I can see how a whole LP of that could be annoying, though.

I do not know who I hate more, Keith Jarret or John Pizzarelli!!  Mr.Pizzarelli even made humming duets with his own guitar!! :duh:

I was always used to listening to Glen Gould's grunt-alongs. When I heard the Zenph recording of Goldburg variations, I actually missed the grunts.
