I have a Loft style home in Vegas and every surface is hard. Cement floors and open ceiling with rafters, I needed to tame the room (16L X 30W with a 12ft ceiling) I hired a company to come out and treat the ceiling and walls and the change in sound is so drastic, in my room the ceiling played a bigger role than my walls, once the ceiling was done, 12 hours later the room just felt quite. Not dead just calm. . My new Spatial computer audio system is wonderful the sound is right. I have learned The room is your biggest component if you get that dialed in then the rest will fall in line.
