Mapletree 2a SE line stage for sale, with auricap upgrades and RAL upgraded umbilical chord.  I will also include for FREE a set of NOS 6sn7 or 12sn7's for the driver stage, and your choice of 6x5 rectifier for the power supply.  Price is firm at $500.

I don't suppose you offer a lay-away program?

Hmmm - I thought not.

Nope, but I can say that it's the best sounding tubed preamp I've heard, and the NOS tubes I'll include with it are OUTSTANDING!

Have you sold this pre yet? And can I ask why you are selling?

It is sold, I am packing it up and sending it off today.

I'm selling because I picked up a DEQX HDP-3 with balanced output, which functions as a preamp, active crossover, room correction, and speaker correction in the time/phase/frequency domains.

Congratulation Tyson with yr deqx

I have upgraded my deqx to hdp 3,  was one of the first 100 buyers, back then.
Still even the HDP3 can sound (much) more transparent with better output  film caps or in the future take the digital out board which accommodates a  clock input, The Deqx can be slaved that way

the internal DEQX clock is althouhg on par with the better mainstream dacs, is  its weakest point.

i use it now for OB speakers that needs a lot of experimentation
also thx for yr almost perfect malt "report"
