Hi All,
Apologies for a newbie question. I'm assembling my first amp and drilling holes in a steel chassis that I salvaged from an older computer device.
Do I have to ensure that the threaded posts that pass through the chassis do not come in contact with the chassis?
The manufacturer of the parts provides washers that might be there to isolate the front and the back, but not the post itself.
Posed another way, do I need to drill the holes large enough to ensure that the threaded post does not contact the chassis?
That's all worded horrifically, but I hope it makes some sense.
Thanks,
Bob
