HI,
Has anyone heard either of the PMC IB2i's or EB1i's. I've listened to the B&W's, but no dealer near me has the PMC's.
I've just had to combine my stereo & surround systems (wife wanted living room stereo free), so now have Anthem Statement D2, Bryston 4B SST & 9B SST, Torus power conditioner, Oppo Blu-Ray, Pioneer Elite Pro-141FD monitor. Room is 20 x 12 x 8, opening on one side to 20 x 15 area (pool table). Just have to upgrade the speakers to complete the system.
I think the B&W 802D may be too much bass for the area, but not sure about the PMC's output as I haven't heard them. Any advice/input would be appreciated before I have to travel to listen to the IB2i's.

I have owned D2,Bryston and have PMC MB2 for sale for less than EB1 and don't let the tweeter fool you,not much difference(i dont see any pro's selling their speakers for the "i" series).I would take the PMC speakers over BMW anyday especially using Bryston gear.

I listened to the 802Ds a couple of weeks ago and liked them. They are putting into production a new version this spring with tweeks to the tweeter and supposidly a much improved low end. Price is going up but you may want to wait and listen to the new version

Thanks for the feedback. I went to listen to PMC & B&W at a dealer in Toronto last week, but they were closed! Website said open Mondays 12 - 6, I guess they need to fix their site. I'll probably make a trip in a few months when the new B&W's are in stock.
