I believe 91db sensitivity, 45Hz-20kHz frequency response, .75" tweeter & 5.5" woofer, utilizes judicious application of modern electro-acoustical filter theory to the real life mechanics of driver, cabinet, and labyrinth reactance, the theoretical advantages of transmission line loading are realized in q-TSAL (quasi-Thiele/Small Actuated Labyrinth) without the unpredictable sonic limitations of primitive 1/4l based designs.
These speakers are absolutely fantastic! Easy to drive, I use them with my 65watt chip amp, 6AQ5 12watt tube amp, and 300B 10-12watt SET amp. No problems whatsoever.
