Wow, VR2 are no longer available?  What an awesome tower speaker!  Sadly it's gone but I got a pair so I'm happy

I'm happy too. The speakers work nicely in a 11'-5" x 15' room.

The portable screen is 5' wide and only blocks the doorway on movie night.

Yes, mine are homemade foam. The VR2 grills have foam surrounds and I noticed the speakers image better with the grill on but sound better with the grills off. The shape of the homemade surrounds allow the grills to still be used when children or drunk adults are visiting.
