The 3-way format gives a wider vertical coverage and image width. With a MTM like the Cima or Prestigio the vertical coverage is more restricted but the Tempesta isn't limited in that way. The mids have greater detail and the bass is more extended. All three drivers represent the best performance possible in the ranges that they cover.
