Liquidating the bedroom system, this must go.  Best sub $1k player I've ever heard, and I've heard lots.  It performs well beyond its price.

This player excels at timing, pace, musicality and space.  The overall sound is unhyped, smooth and flowing--natural and analogue-like in its delivery.  Always composed and relaxed, never harsh, edgy or splashy.  The musicality must be due to the non-oversampling design.

Do the Google and find all the favorable comments.

The Stereo Times reviewer much preferred the CD120 to both venerable Rega players: Planet and Jupiter.    And he thought it runs with the double the price tubed Lector.  I've spent some time with the Planet and agree the 120 beats it.  I've never heard the Jupiter.  I also think it surpasses the popular Arcam 33T that I previously owned.

He subsequently reviewed the Opera Audio Reference 2.2 Linear tubed unit.  Despite being half the price and not tubed he preferred the CD120 for its warmer and less hyped character.  Having owned both units, I agree!

The condition is perfect.  I can't find a mark on it.  Outdoor photos don't lie.

Plays perfectly, but I must point out some minor operational issues:

*  Drawer mechanism:  sometimes the drawer has a mind of its own and self-closes quickly after opening.    There can be long stretches of a week or more when it never happens.  Then it will act up.  Powering it off / on again usually fixes it.

*  PLAY button:  on rare occasion, there is no response when the PLAY button is pressed.  Pressing the button twice usually resolves things.

Evidently, these are common issues with this player.  The Stereo Times reviewer had the same drawer situation with his review unit.

I want to stress that these are very minor and intermittent annoyances that in no way effect musical reproduction.  They were not revealed to me when I bought the unit, but I mention them because I am honest in all my audio dealings.

Included:  original box / packaging, remote, manual.

Asking $550 $525 obo.   I will pay shipping to the CONUS.
