Phono to BP26 advice
« on: 20 Jan 2010, 05:41 pm »
Hello everyone. I have an older Rotel RC-1070 which I used to use as my preamp, but now am planning to use only as a phono preamp as it has built in mm/mc. My question is this: Am I able to connect the Rotel to the BP26 and as a phono preamp only? Would I do this by routing the output of the Rotel into the Bryston using the Main Outputs on the back of the Rotel, or should I use the Tape Rec output. I don't want to damage my system and am unsure if I am able to use the Rotel as a phono pre only. Thank you for your advice!

Use the 'TAPE OUTS' to any high level input on the BP26.
