The wheels are comin off on ESPN First Take this morning bout the Colts retiring key starters for the second half against the Jets.  If the Colts don't go all the way, that might haunt them for a long time.  The consensus seems to come down to you don't screw with momentum.

I don't know what happened there. I thought the Colts had the game in the bag so I went out to plow the snow. How they lost the game, I dunno?

Glad they did,I have a running bet(20 years now) that there will not be another undefeated team in the NFL before I retire in March 2012.

Concur with the "don't screw with momentum" comment. A couple of years ago the Colts sewed up home field advantage, rested the starters for 3 games and then promptly lost in their first playoff game. In front of a stunned and disappointed home crowd.
I'm hoping that doesn't happen again. They do seem to have a bit more intensity this season.
