We have given so many games away in the fourth quarter this year but finally not today.  Steelers rack up mega offensive yards against Pack and win 37 to 36 on the very last play.

Yes!

As a Bears fan, I just love Minnesota winning the NFC North with Favre, while the Pack is so close behind. Ooh, that's gotta sting!   Hey, when your team sucks as bad as the Bears, you gotta get your kicks anyway you can!

For a team to score the tieing touchdown with 0:00, well that's what every team dreams of doing. The point after simply sealed the deal. It makes me wonder how many of them GB players are watching tonites Viking game with bittersweet feelings? I'm betting it's just about all of them. I personally dislike both teams (past history with my "Boys") so I could simply enjoy the game w/o having a favorite to root for.

I have no love for the Steelers but it was nice to see them down the FudgePackers. 8)  I'd love to see GB not get a wildcard berth; it's tough enough beating a team twice in a season, even worse having to beat 'em three times.

Rob:

There is one thing for certain and that is if you have to play the Packers again it will be in your dome and not in Green Bay.  That amounts to a huge advantage for the Vikes, as long as Sir Brett can stay healthy!

No doubt.  Just would rather play someone else.  Although it would give Favre one more chance to heap abuse on his old team.

Dang, Carolina should have dumped Jake Delhomme a long time ago.  This guy Moore might not be great but at least he's not shooting himself in the foot every time he gets the ball.  He's played pretty well overall tonight.

The Vikings were dead in the water all night, Farve played like an old man. Carolina really didn't look much better for 3 quarters. The game had none of the excitement of the Packer/Steeler game. Must have been bad karma Rob from your Fudge remark.

The reason Favre looked like an old man is because Carolina had a rush most of the night.  Julius Peppers was a beast.  The Vikings couldn't handle the Carolina D-line.

Guys:

I think this weekend is a prime example of why we love NFL Football.  Undefeated Saints lose at home, Raiders beat the Broncos in wild finish, Steelers beat Packers in a wild finish in a must win game for both teams and last night the Vikes fall to Carolina.  Certainly the Giants have everything to play for tonight as a week 15 does not end until the end of tonight's game! :thumb:

Giants opened up a can of "whup-ass" last night and destroyed Washington.  I can only open that they play with that level of intensity and execution in their last two games.  If they do that, I wouldn't want to play them in the playoffs.

Suddenly, no one wants any part of playing the NFC east.  Go figure
Three teams are capable of winning it all or disappearing completely.

George:

Eli looked incredible last night and I agree with your last comment.  If the Giants play like they did last night in the next two games they will enter the playoffs just like they did two years ago.

Guys, the best time of the year is coming - the Playoffs and the race to the Superbowl looks like a wide-open, free for all to me! :thumb:

Unfortunately, no matter how well the Giants play in the next two games they do not hold their fortune in hand.  They gave that up when they lost to the Eagles (again ) so they will have to hope the Cowboys drop the ball.  Both teams seem very determined at this point so who knows what will happen.  Can the Skins grow a pair and step up against the Cowboys?  Will the Giants take care of business in their last home game ever in Giant's stadium?  Dang, I wish the games were tonight!
