BR2-RC problems
« on: 19 Dec 2009, 09:50 pm »
Hello

As a new owner of a B100 I just programmed the optional BR2 remote control. The amp section works without any problems, but strange things happen pressing a button in the bottom row. This row is in fact provided for the use of a BCD-1 which is not present in my chain. Pressing (by accident) the "EJECT"-button in this row turns the volume up immediately to its peak level, reversible by moving the volume knob. Pressing the "PAUSE"-button has the same effect as pressing the "MUTE"-button. Pressing the "PLAY"-button leads to a hum while the music stops playing. This malfunction can be reproduced applying one more RC to both amps, my dealer's one as well as mine. Is this malfunction a system error of the BR2-RC?

Hi Nikowan

I will forward to Mike our remote expert - sounds strange indeed.
