I am using the humble E-MU 0404 as hi rez soundcard for the FW Vaio laptop.
Recently discovered the DVD-A plugin for Foobar 2000, allowing native 192/24 output from the audio layer of DVD-A.
I have also used JRiver Jukebox for asio of hi-rez files. This works great as their asio is nicley compatible with the 0404, but it does not allow DVD playback.
I have not yet found a simple solution for hi rez 96/24 asio output to the 0404 from the video layer of standard DVDs like the issues for Chesky and Classic Records.
Will JRiver Media Center allow this? Any other solution for Foobar2000?
Any other solutions short of ripping the music from the video layer using DVDExtractor?
