i ran across this auction on ebay and am not sure what model they are:

I would bet they are the SuperTower IIa/R.  I lusted after them during my college years.  

If so they are HUGH MONGUS !!!!  They won't please the audiophile like the current VMPS designs, but the are great for rock and would make killer subwoofers.

I'm tempted to go check them out since I live about 20 miles from the seller.  Bringing these monsters home to the wife, I'd be a dead man
