bugle power supply output values

OK,

So, I finally decided to move from 9v to an enclosure with the finished power supply.

I have a multimeter that reads about 116v AC in on each side, but on the output I have a slight variance.

Output from my multimeter (DC) is:

a) -15.07
b) +15.27 to +15.28

Is this a problem?  If so, how might I begin to figure out how to trouble shoot the issue?

No, it's not a problem. From the Bugle Power Supply Specs:

Output Voltage +/-15V +/-5% . It means from 14,25 to 15,75 is OK.

Then I think your multimeter also have some precision restrictions (look through its manual).

The output from your multimeter is right on the money. A few milli volts one way or the other is not a probem. No electronics products are perfect.
You have to use what sounds good to you.

Thanks guys!

You are both right -- I have it in an enclosure now, and it sounds amazing to my ears.  Better than expected, and while some praise 9v and 12v batteries and warn about noise with the power supply, my current configuration, in my humble opinion, subtly but easily surpasses the 9v batteries.  I've never tried the 12v batteries, so I can't say how I would feel about that.  But, having wall AC power while both my wife and I are prone to wandering off, especially with a TT with auto-return, etc., etc., is very nice.

FYI - the built enclosure is the second one pictured in the following thread elsewhere:
